My parents (or maybe my aunt?) gave me this book when I was a child, and I have adored it ever since.

I hate to admit it, but even at 40 years old, I cannot read it or even just tell the story without crying. This story touches me so deeply ...

EDIT: Damn! The video made me cry again.
