To Sam
I have imported three waves to be edited, and then saved as a gig file. The resulting sound when played back is too loud, so the ideal move is to reduce level, however the level is already zero (attenuation).
How do I lower the overall level?
regards
Bryan
Attenuation is how much a sound is \'quieted\'. So a sound with 0 decibels of attenuation is fully loud, like the full intensity of the waveform going to the line out. 6 db of attenuation makes the sound half as loud, and 12 db of attenuation makes it 1/4 as loud.
