That is a huge April fools joke,
Afterall, there is only one company that could give giga something it has never had....
SERVICE
Too good to be true I suppose. After reading about Etlux's purchase of Garritan Corp.,
maybe Gary is using David's money to buy Gigastudio hmmmm?????
Happy April everyone!

A better one would be: "Garritan is delaying the release of GPO ARIA by a couple of months".......ahhhh.....wait a second......

If it is an April Fool's joke it's pretty elaborate.
Congrats Gary.

Just saw the headline on KVR... this is huge, and unexpected. Not huge for me personally, but I'm sure for the many thousands of giga users left out in the cold with recent events. Now they at least have a respectable name in the biz protecting their investments. So... congratulations on the growth of your company... and, er, good luck with that giga thing. :p

This is a pleasant and most welcome surprise. How will the Giga support affect the ARIA platform, if at all, or will the two formats be supported simultaneously?? Will the Giga 4 and GVI 2 platforms proceed as had been intended before TASCAM discontinued the projects last summer?? So many questions...such an interesting bit of news!!
Congrats, Gary!

Of course, I stand corrected... :) I meant in my head, the second version of it, and or course, I forget that it was gvi 3... And now 4... But yes, the new version...

Congrats Gary,
While I'm not familiar with the Giga samples, I do know they have a great reputation and I would say they have landed in safe hands!
Good luck with this going forward.

Hmmm - I suppose that April 1 could be a significant date since some corps and other companies start their business year in April - so perhaps just good timing, to look like a joke that's *not* a joke is the *ULTIMATE* gag!!
:)
In either case, the possibilities are pretty intriguing.

Gary:
I have been a long time user of Gigastudio and more recently GVI. I admit that recently I have been using mostly Garritan products - but I am thrilled to hear about this purchase and look forward to continuing news about developments with this product.
Great!
