Have a question on software after building a computer?

Hello,

i want to build my computer, i have found all the stuff i need and now my next question is about the software. I am currently running XP and was wondering can i install XP using the serial code i have on the side of my computer? Or will i need to buy Vista or Xp all over?

Hi Stella, If you have the XP installation disc, you can install Windows as the Operating System on one computer from that disc and be able to register and authorize it. If you won't be using the old computer, you could move the (C) drive from your old computer to the new one.

If you intend to have two computers running XP, you would have to purchase it again for the new computer.
