How many of you know or have known someone who is or was famous (beside yourself) in music?
For myself, I knew that guy that everyone heard of in the seventies and had quite a career in mobile homes. :D No, really ... Do you?

I played bass in Jim Reeves' band years ago. I was just a young lad. It was an interesting and fun experience.
Jim Reeves was a smooth country singer who had quite a few hit records during his prime.
I also worked an extended gig on bass with Ray Stephens, The King Of Comedy Music.

Both my parents were members of a famous choir back in the fifties, sixties.
They were active in the musical world, so my sister and I met:
a. Toon Vranken, musician, director of that choir
b. Johan Weegenhuise, pianist and composer
c. Marius Flothuis, musicologist, composer
d. Frank Martin, composer
