polyphony

I used to use an \"Emulator E4\" and all my sequences have been composed with 128 note polyphony. I had wrongly assumed that as the samples were larger in Giga Sampler, the polyphony would would be as large also....
Nope....I can also remember something about the release of a stand alone system from \"GS\"
which has polyphony of 512 notes...?
Well the question... Is there an upgrade within \"GS\" to larger polyphony?
Will extra RAM (I have 256mb)make any difference?
Is it planned by \"GS\" to make an upgrade available?.....
I have 240 songs which will now require some serious modification...
