Thanks all for the birthday wishes. I tried to go through this birthday in stealth mode but leave it to Tom (wait until his birthday ;) ).

It was a splendid day. My wife made a birthday cake from zucchini in the garden. 0-|| And I listened to some music in the Listening Room and we watched a magnificent sunset on the beach.

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICHARD! and hope your birthday was terrific.

Actually, I did not observe my birthday. I noted the 53rd anniversary of my 25th birthday by cooking a pot of pork & beans, cleaning the shed, and winning 2 games of chess. I don't really know if I am a good chess player, but I have probably won around 90% of the games I have played. It is a useful way to keep the mind functional, as is music.

And from Gary, I learned something today. Zucchini cake?
