I admit to not viewing the short film till last evening at the first showing. Altogether there were eleven short 7 minute films viewed and voted on in various categories, best acting (male & female), best directing, best use of the prop "a cabbage", best use of the main line "No one told me that", and more. We had fun and the turnout was a full house.
Our film "The Applicants" surprised my wife and I how funny it is. During, the whole audience seemed to be in hysterics which ended with a roaring applause.
We return next Wednesday evening for the award ceremony and viewing of the winners. Judging on what I viewed, we have a good shot at first or at least second place. I'm keeping my toes and fingers crossed until then.
