I'm a grandpa. My daughter just gave birth to an 8 lb 3 oz baby boy - Aiden James. A beautiful baby that makes me a grandpa. Just thought I'd share it with the Garritan community

Well, congratulations. Enjoy him at every opportunity. My grandchildren and great grandson are nearer to you than me, so I don't have much opportunity to see them.

Thanks again, everyone for your well wishes. Mom and baby should be going home today. They are both doing fine, though my daughter did lose a bit of blood and is anemic. They say that that is common. She is on iron pills to build up her iron deficiency. Now the real work begins for her. Alas, it is difficult knowing what is in store, though I must say it is all well worth the 'struggle'. I love my kids and I now love my new grandson! (Can't tell that I am proud can you?) I did write him a lullaby for my daughter's shower. I will post it when I get a chance in the listening room. It is all Garritan samples except for the voice which belongs to my niece.

Thanks again all.

Best regards,
Bill

It's really a big achievement.

I hope I will too...sometime... in the future...not so close...:p

Thanks Fabio, it is the greatest thing - awe inspiring and humbling at the same time. I now appreciate better what my parents went through and the great advice they gave. Not that when they gave it, I appreciated it. I do now. Life is a circle and Elton John described it the best!

Best regards,
Bill

Congratulations to you and your family, Bill! Your grandson is quite fortunate to have someone who will, no doubt, be cultivating and fostering his young artistic talents! At the risk of sounding cliche, life is great.

Best regards,

Ken

Ken and David - thanks so much for your well wishes. The baby and mother are home and doing well. I guess I have great genes (I think they are Levi's).

Best regards
Bill
