So on the main page, I can see that COMB2 is on the way... but the list of features is not apparently any different from that of COMB, and it's still Kontakt-based. What's up with that? Just curious.

I think they haven't updated the specs yet. The same was true for JABB3 even a couple of days after it was released.

I think Henry was referring to the details that appear not to have been updated yet. One of the details says it includes the Kontakt 2 Sample Player.

Like I said in my last post JABB3 said the same thing for a couple of days after its release.

It 's really stressful waiting, day after day, the release of COMB2.

That's correct that we Beta testers can't have any idea when it will be released. But I will say it's looking awfully good-to-go!
