My Dance Suite or Flutes is being played this Sunday by members of the Cleveland Flute Society. I am looking forward to hearing it.
Also, this Sunday at 9:00 pm Eastern Daylight Savings Time my String Quartet will be played on WCLV, a Cleveland Classical Station on there "Not Yet Dead Composers Hour".
Glad to know I am not yet dead. You can hear it on www. wclv.com at 9:00 pm Eastern Daylight Savings time.
Give it a listen (It might be second after Halem el-Dahb
Enjoy,
Bill

Congratulations!!! That is so cool. Will you be able to get a recording of it? (will you be able to share it?)
EDIT: whoops - I should have read more thoroughly. I'll be listening!

That's awesome Bill! Congratulations. Maybe that will mean another check from ASCAP :)
Anyway you must be thrilled and excited. Good luck with the performances.

I just looked on WCLV's website. "Not the Dead White Male Composer's Hour" is a great title for a radio show. Every radio station should have one!
Sadly, I'll be busy at 9:00 tonight, so I won't be able to listen. But my congratulations anyway!
Thinking about WCLV brings back memories of college. I used to listen all the time when I was at Oberlin.

The Toot Suite, fond memories. Fun to play, but it is for trumpet and small jazz group by Sunny Rollins I believe.
Mine is the infamous "tooting" Suite.

Jerry, Swinkler and Randy (Hmm, sounds like a lawyer group) Thanks for the comments and support. This piece is the piece that BRS Music, Inc chose to publish awhile back after Bruce heard it here on Garritan.
Best,
Bill

Dan, Oberlin is a beautiful town. We go there a lot just to be in the park and listen to some great concerts.
Best,
Bill
