Hello,

When I used the Finale 2010 setup wizard to start a new document using JABB basses or classic jazz drum kit I got the message "File was not found. Please check if library is installed correctly."
I already followed the procedures found at http://makemusic.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2750/kw/vsti/p/1%2C3475/r_id/101773 (http://makemusic.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2750/kw/vsti/p/1%2C3475/r_id/101773), however, the problems persists.

Can you help me?

Thanks,

Joao

I had a similar problem with the drum kit setup wizard.

At some point I edited my "GarritanJazzinstrument-K2.txt" file to correct what seems to be an error:

corrected version:
SampleFile = 10 Notation/08 Drums and Percussion/Sticks/Classic Jazz Drum Kit/n-03 Classic Jz Drum Kit.nki

original version:
SampleFile = 10 Notation/10 Lite/08 Drums and Percussion/Sticks/Classic Jazz Drum Kit/n-03 Classic Jz Drum Kit.nki

I think this fixed things for me.
Good luck.

pickles7 (Harvey), THANK YOU!!! Your correction worked for me! Now, when I select the Classic Jazz Drum Kit in the setup wizard I don't have the error message.
However, I still get the error message when I select any of JABB basses in the setup wizard.

Any more ideas? Please!

Joao

Hi Joao:

Glad it worked.

I just tried the upright bass and got the same error you did.
After poking around I fixed it by editing the same .txt file to change:

SampleFile = 10 Notation/07 Basses/n-Upright Bass 1 KS.nki

to:

SampleFile = 10 Notation/07 Basses/n-UprightBass 1 KS.nki

It then worked.

I believe the other basses can be fixed in the same way.

Good luck,
