Long time no see.
Recently, I am busy with pencil and paper to learn harmony and counterpoint. I would like to report on my progress in those areas, in which some people might be interested.
I am now working on harmony donnes and here is one example. Soprano donne by H. Challan and realized by me.

And here is after the lesson. Apparently improved.

Also I am struggling with counter point. Here is an example of 3 part quarter notes-syncopation counterpoint. Alto is the given theme and soprano is by quarter notes and bass is by syncopated half notes. Before the lesson,

And after the lesson,

Again the latter is much better sounding.
All the score is by Finale 2008 and its playback
with bundled Garritan sounds.
Any input will be appreciated.
Sincerely,
