Well, so much for Prosamples. East West has reported issues with the set and so fourth...
They will, of course, correct any errors and
kept us updated. They are a great company! http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif

Nick,

I am all set to place an order for QLB this coming week. As you know, the Pro Samples version is not working for me. My question is:

I understand that you are in the works
of creating QLB2. Should I wait? How will
QLB2 differ from QLB (Giga)?

Thanks for this update.

If you write fairly intense stuff, QL Brass is very good. It does not concentrate heavily on soft brass. Although, I think its fine for that too. Ql Brass 2 orchestral is a little ways off. I have already recorded the solo french horn, which is looking scary ( 2 gigabytes alone), but the library is by no means a replacement for the first.

Thank you.

Yet, another question http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif

There is an advantage to the Giga native
version of QLB, if so, could you go into some detail?

I am using Gstudio160...of course I will order Giga native but right now I have the
prosamples Akai stuff http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/frown.gif

Thanks again.

The GIGA version is the best. More samples, ease of use, and sample switching via the mod wheel.

That said, I\'ve just ordered the Roland version for my 5080. How do you think it sounds/
