Conexant GM150 General MIDI Kit ?

Anybody have experience with the GM150 or GM500? I couldn\'t really tell the quality from the MP3 samples provided on the Nemesys site.

To be honest, I was less than impressed. It\'s a good idea, but with the trouble of loading MIDI file samples, etc, the sound wasn\'t worth it. I mean, it was very good sound, but it was about the sort of results I get from a Roland Sound Canvas module or my old Korg X5DR.
