Sequencer Priority GStudio Ver. 2.2

Settings are 1-8. I use Sonar and/or ProTools
running PIII, 975mhz and 256MB Ram.

What does the scale represent? What is the best or happy medium for sequencer and GStudio running on same PC?

I personally only get good performance out of SONAR when I give it priority 8. Anything less than that yields unexceptable latency.
