Holy crap...
Who decided to slaughter elephants in the recording room?
Edit:
Yes, this is real.

I see an opportunity for a new sample library. It only needs a catchy name.

I almost peed my self laughing when I heard their take on dance of the sugarplum fairies. So... horrible. Probably would give most conductors a stroke.

I don't understand what all the laughs are about. I thought they were rather good, actually. Now excuse me while I go and remove the macaroni cheese from my ears.

Fantastic! I've seen this before. What dynamic expression and rich timbre. Imagine the excitement of hearing such an unpredictable performance live-- it would keep you on your toes. I like the time-varying cluster chords--a nice dissonant touch that goes with the thumping bass drum.
One of my profs (Andrew Schloss (http://people.finearts.uvic.ca/%7Easchloss/) , a music professor/computer engineer who plays Bell Labs experimental instrument called the Radiodrum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiodrum)) may enjoy this sort of thing as he's interested in odd sound textures (then again he may just think that it's an un-inspired abomination).

If that was real, the music teacher should be fired for dragging the students through such a bad musical experience.

At least their playing together!
This reminds me of my son's 6th grade winter band concert. 2 of the songs were total train wrecks. One song was Grandma Got Ran Over By A Reindeer which more like Grandma Got Ran Over By A Freight Train! Nobody was following the band director. The saxes were playing super loud and slow, the drum section was playing much faster than the conductor. My son was sitting between them in the trumpet section thinking how band it sounded and wondering what beat he should play on. One of these days I need to get the audio from the video and post it here.

Always fun to see new folks discovering the dulcet sounds of the Portsmouth Sinfonia...
I remember my son's first band concert. They played their tuning note behind the stage curtain and I was convinced that a steamship was going to come plowing out somehow.
