Need your recommendation!

I am new to Giga studio. The only samples I own are the ones that came with the software. is there a CD that contains several different instruments to get me started. Or maybe a couple CD\'s

Depends on what kind of music you do, and what your budget is like. You can find some free gigs here and there, you can convert sound fonts (some of them free) to gig format, you can buy the Conexant GM set (I don\'t have it - I think I\'ve seen mostly negative comments about it here), you can go with Advanced Orchestra, or you can spend many thousands on individual instruments and instrument groups. Sorry, I should have mentioned my interest.
I play mostly Jazz (not cool or smooth Jazz) straight ahead Jazz with north African influence.
Oh, I also need to get me a CD with LUSH PADS. NOT analog ones but more like the ones LYLE MAYS uses in PAT METHENY GROUP.
