I\'m about to buy the QuantumLeap Brass CD but have been told that some sort of code is placed on the CDs to prevent copying. Does this effect the sound quality in any way?.

I don\'t think that kind of digital watermarking has audible artifacts.

The sound quality is amazing. As far as I can tell, without comparing to the originals, the digital watermarking doesn\'t make any noticeable difference.
