View Full Version : Pure Drums by Yellow Tools
I bought Pure Drums on Nick\'s thumbs up and agree they area nice collection of drum sounds. What I\'m wondering.. is there some way to seperate the kits into bass drum, snare, toms and cymbals so I can layer them on different ports? That will enable me to send them to different outputs with different reverb settings.

Hi scf3,
to seperate the kits you need the \"output channel offset\" function within the instrument editor: you can assign an offset to singel samples or regions like any other paramenter setting.
So load your desired drumkit to a MIDI channel with the outputs 1 and 2.
For the bass drums take offset \"0\" to assign it on the outputs 1-2. Snare drums with offset \"2\" for outputs 3-4. Toms with offset \"4\" for outputs 5-6, etc.
I hope this answered your question.
With regards
Christian
Thanks Christian,
I didn\'t even know about this feature.
Thanks for your help.
