Hi everyone. I am using the JABB Tuba in a Dixieland piece buy finding it terribly out of tune on sustained and lower notes. Not as bad as a high school musical but not far off. Is there a fix? If not do you think that the VSL Tuba would be a worthy replacement? Just wanted to ask the question before I put in all the work of replacing only to find out that the tone is all wrong.
You can download free tuba samples here:

You would need a software sampler, such as Kontakt, to make soft "instruments" out of them. But the tuba does have sustained articulation, as well as shorter samples of various durations.
