hello everyone......the main piano sample i use live is the Gigapiano. it is a great piano sound without a doubt.......BUT......the problem i am having with it is the decay of the sound. when u play a real piano, and u hit it staccato very hard the sound stops as soon as your hand leaves the keys. the gigapiano , unfortunately, does not do this. does anyone know of a piano sample thats matches the timbre of the gigapiano and can be played staccato. OR.........how to edit the gigapiano to my liking.

thank you

You probably want to get rid of the \"release triggered\" samples. I have an articulation patch for the Gigapiano available from my \"updates\" download page which creates additional patches for the GigaPiano instrument, which have the release samples removed.
You can download the articulation patch at:
http://www.wstco.com/pianosounds/updates/index.htm (\"http://www.wstco.com/pianosounds/updates/index.htm\")

You need the Version 2 editor (ships with Gigastudio) to apply the articulation patch to the Gigapiano.

Another option is to buy Post Piano Suite. This piano has stacco articulations.
