Turning Stereo Samples into Mono

OK,

What is involved in turning stereo samples into Mono.

Is it just a matter creating a new gig with the left or right samples. If so, maybe we could talk Chickensys into including a
Split Stero Utility with Translator. You would end up with two mono gigs. One from the right and one from the left.

Would this work, or not???

Well,

I sent the idea into Chickensys, and they responded that it was a good idea, and they would see what they could do.

Hopefully they decide to implement this.
