Hi
I've just found the Garritan software as a way of sampling solo strings, orchestral and chamber string set ups. I haven't bought it yet as I want to check a few things are compatible. I have a Macbook Pro with Logic Pro 8 and an M-Audio 88 key midi controller .
Can anyone help me with whether I need to buy both a sustain and an expression pedal to work with my controller and the Garritan strings software for holding notes?
I've heard of the Aria software - I presume that's a Garritan inbuilt software...when sampling with Logic Pro - how do the samples work within Logic or do you have to use Aria separately to get the best out of Garritan??
Cheers for any advice...
