At least Xsample 10-12 seem to be available now. They now can be accessed via the search function (http://www.bestservice.de) but I wonder why they don\'T appear on the news list...

FedEx just delivered my XSamples 10-12 order. I guess I\'ll be \"out of the studio\" for the rest of the day!

I got my x-samples 10-12 today. The strings are great. The sounds are bigger than previous volumes. The stereo samples are compressed. I love the clarinet, and the string is very good too....everything is good.

Are there any Gigastrings beta testers who can comment on the library\'s development? Are there beta testers??

I have to admit that while the promise of a string library like this seems great, I\'ve been skeptical about it. The cost to produce such a library must be very, very steep, and the skill required to fulfill its potential is also very, very high.

I seriously hope that in the next few months we\'ll have a stunning and ground-breaking string library at our disposal, but at this point, I wonder if Gary\'s bitten off more than he can chew.

Good question Doug. Where are those beta testers? Wonder if the library does sound good?
I know Jim at Nemesys, one of the guys who made the software for Giga, told me he hasn\'t even seen a beta version of Gigastrings yet.

I talked with Gary a cpl months ago. He was pretty enthusiastic about the library. From what he was saying was there was a bit of progrmming still to be done and that the beta testers will be able to hear them in a little while. He did say that there were some personal things that he ahd to take care of in his personal life at the moment and to me they would definately take prescidense over anything else in life. I\'m actually hoping things are well for him. I\'m sure he\'ll get on the library and get them to beta testers as soon as he can. I was anxious to har it as well

With that said, man I\'m frustrated with all you sample developers for a nother reason now. You\'re all puting out Titles I WANT!

I\'m really hopign for another big gig. If I get one I\'m buying all these new Dan Dean ones coming out, Nicks Rare Instrumetns. The Whole freaking Xsample set since I don\'t have it yet. As well as ths damn VR strings you\'re teasing us with Franz! http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif

All this just in time so that a bunch of new ones will come out.

I think I\'ve found a replacement for my old Gear Aquisition Syndrome.....sigh...

Georg, the clarinets sound great. I really like the dynafade presets. I would really like these for the Woodwinds I sounds. Will you be offering any updates?

Georg

Hello \"King\",

my email is stahl@xsample.de.

Hello Haydn,

we had thought about it. It would means, starting at \"Zero\" again, because we used an other concept. We mixed different dynamics together, but this only works with absolutly homogen sounds. I think, it would be very nice. But I\'m afraid there are other steps before...
So at the moment I just can offer you the cresc presets.

Georg
