View Full Version : Legato with Finale2010b (and other notation sw in general)

I'm approaching Finale (2010b) and configured it to playback through GPO4.
I monitored the Aria Player while performing notes under a slur but I don't see the tiny legato pedal icon to light up.
Neither this command seems to work under Notion3.
What's wrong with it? Does it work under a cc#64 - sustain pedal in notation instruments too or is it driven by a different cc?
... can't go to sleep quietly until I solve this dilemma ...

I believe legato is handled for the notation instruments with CC 67.

Cheers!

Hi Steve. Nice to see you and beloved Jan again.
Thank you for the quick answer,
but sounds funny to me
that it works via the soft pedal...
Maybe it's cc#68?
Could be?

Edit: I just tested Notion again, rewriting the "slur rule" from scratch and now it responds to cc64: the pedal lights up though the sound doesn't changes much. But this is another story...
