GSIF - what can I expect from this interface ?

Hi guys,

I´ve got a SB AWE64 Gold which is not equipped with the Gigasampler-Interface.

Could anybody hear comment on the benefits of an investment into a GSIF-compatible soundcard ?

I´ve hear that with Gigastudio you need GSIF if you want to apply effects to MIDI-channels separately. True ?

Do I gain more voices with a GSIF ?

Any other ideas ?
