View Full Version : AKAI libraries on ZIP
Does anyone know if its possible to import AKAI libraries (S1000 format) into gigasampler from ZIP or magneto optical?. If this is not possible what is the best way of transferring zip or m/o library to CD ROM?

I have CDxtract (www.cdxtract.com), and have found it to be a great utility for cataloging my large collection of Akai format samples on magneto optical disks. I have been successful using it with my SCSI Fujitsu DynaMO 640SE drive and my SCSI ZIP drive. Check with their company \"Amazing Sound\", but I believe that it is planned to enhance CDxtract to export directly to Giga format.
To make Akai format CD-ROMs, I have bought Disk2File (www.zicweb.com) and CDRWIN (www.goldenhawk.com). I have only recently tried them, but have been successful so far with my Yamaha CRW4416SX CD writer.
