Joe Sample's piano sound

Does anyone know if piano sound in \'The Song Lives On\' album is a real piano or a sample? Either way, does this piano sound exist in a sample cd? The piano sound is gorgeous. Any help is appreciated.

From what I\'ve read about Joe, it\'s probably a Yamaha grand piano. I\'ve been able to get a marginally similar sound from my Yamaha digital piano, but I don\'t know if you can ever convincingly replicate that sound with anything else than the real thing.
