    What does \"chromatically sampled\" mean?

    Sampled instruments that have not been chromatically sample recorded have just a few of the notes recorded with the rest being pitch shifted.

    If you were to sample every other note, or just the notes in say the key of C, that would yield a diatonically sampled instrument.

    I can think of at least one library that\'s sampled diatonically that sounds really great. Something to do with woodwinds :-)
