Unhappy playback in print music is scratchy

Garritan PO4 and JAZZ3 is awesome. just having issues on playback being scratchy as though its overloaded. Is there a way to fix this issue? Anyone else having this problem?

What did you mean by "in print music" in your subject line--?

What you're describing sounds like what happens when buffers aren't large enough and the computer can't keep up with the demand. In whatever kind of music software you're using, there has to be access to your audio interface's control panel where you can enlarge the buffer. There's also the buffer in the program itself to try adjusting, and there's also a buffer in ARIA - It's always a juggling act. Experiment - eventually you'll have smooth playback.

If you're not using an audio interface, and trying to use your computer's built in sound card, - that's probably the source of the data bottleneck right there.

He means notation program rather than sequencer prg.

By scratchy he means little 'rice crispy' clips specific to his 'sound card's'' ASIO buffer set too low.

Markmu, set ASIO buffer size to 1024 min (under "set up/settings").

(By any chance, Markmu, are you using presonus and or 'audiobox'? Did you just update its drivers?)

---Right, that's why I explained that in my reply to him.

Markmu--where are you? Have you seen your replies? Problem fixed?
