Topic: Stylus Question

    Re: Stylus Question

I haven\'t gone through all of the the sounds yet but most of the preconstructed loops are tilted towards techno. That being said, there are a few nice sounding rock drums in the collection. It\'s a little cumbersome to construct your own kits because you\'ll basically need one VST spot for each sound (kick, snare, hihat, ride, toms, crash).

So you\'re probably better off looking elsewhere... or wait until they release an acoustic drum module.

    Stylus Question

Can any one tell me if Stylus is capable of large hard hitting drum kits? I\'ve heard the demos and, while I do love the tecno type sounds, I was hoping it might replace my old Roland R-70 drum machine which has those in you face type snares, kicks, toms and cymbals. Would something like Drumkit From Hell Superior be a better choice? (I\'m talking sonically not loops, etc.) Any other ideas?

    All the best,

Stylus is not meant to do that kind of thing, so something else might be a better choice....
