Where are the suspended cymbals rolls hit with timpani sticks?

    Hi everyone,

I am currently on a big project and I take the opportunity to switch all percussions to Garritan. So, I'm looking now for suspended cymbals rolls hit with timpani sticks used in symphonic or concert band. I need to do crescendo/decrescendo rolls.

Where are the appropriate patches for doing this?
How can I do crescendo/decrescendo with timber changing?

Sorry to bother you with these things, but I have searched in the libraries, but I can't find the sound. I own GPO4, JABB3, COMB2, Steinway and World Instruments.

    Best regards,

    Fred.

Hi, Fred - On p.94 of the GPO manual you'll find the list for the percussion instruments. The cymbal rolls are high up on the keyboard, with two of them being controlled by CC1 for crescendos:

G#5 - cymbal roll (mod wheel)
A5 - cymbal roll with release hit (mod wheel)
A#5 - cymbal roll crescendo (without mod wheel)
