Can you assign different reverb settings to different midi channels?

In Gigastudio 96, if I used my Roland XP-80 as my sequencer, could I assign each midi channel on my roland synth a different reverb setting for the samples off of Gigastudio or do I have to have multiple outputs for each track for realtime processing?

    Damon,

Yes, but you need to make sure you have a GSIF compatible audio hardware (see our web page for a list of cards). If you card is GSIF compatible, then the DSP station\'s Digital Mixer will have 32 inputs strips. Midi channels are routed to the mixer\'s inputs. Each input can be assigned up to 4 effects. Therefore you can route your 16 midi channels to individual mixer inputs and assign individual effects.

... but if you don\'t have a GSIF driver, then you are stuck with only 2 mixer inputs.

    Regards,
    Joe (NemeSys)
