The Rains of Castamere - from Game of Thrones

Watching Game of Thrones? Still suffering from that episode?

    I'll say no more.

Music arranged by me, composed by Ramin Djawadi.

An arrangement you can be proud of. It sounds wonderful.

Your arrangement is just great on this piece. I think the music is a little understated but your work on this brought a lot of life to it. Nice post. Jay

Love me "Game of Thrones" - one of the most remarkable series in history---and YES we're still suffering from that episode--omg.

I just now played "The Rains of Castamere" nice and loud so my wife and I could enjoy it - and we enjoyed thoroughly. Beautiful - Maybe we have courage now to step back into those dangers "Game of Thrones" waters!

    Hi Graham,

This is great music, especially the lower strings in their very worthy theme, accompanied by the horn. The music plays a dramatic role, impressive and yet not too loaded, just the balance between drama and beauty...

Thanks all - yes it's very simplistic overall, purposely so as it's a 'medieval' song in the show - so was composed in keeping with that style.

It's quite a grim song, but my semi-classical take on it lightened it up a bit. There's a few heavy percussion versions knocking about, so I avoided doing that also.
