How about some Sax and Funk from the 70s?

To totally convince myself that the JABB3 saxes have the chops, I set out to reproduce one of the more difficult sections sounds of the Average White Band and Pick Up the Pieces. Here are the first 8 bars. Everything here is Garritan except the drums and bass--even the guitar is Garritan (boy I have tons more respect for rhythm guitar players now).

After this piece, I am pretty convinced I can get what I want from JABB3.

Not bad, I think you got the groove right on this. Obviously, it is a little short. Would love to hear some more of the sax line.

Jim, I would think you of all people didn't need any more convincing about JABB, after producing the great tracks you've already done. But there ya go, just as you said in your post, JABB, saxes and all, sounds great in this beginning clip of your new project. Good goin'!
