Midifiles of developer demos?

I\'ve been listening to the VSL demos and liking them more and more. However, like many other people, I\'m wondering where the multisamples end and the sampled phrases begin.

Maybe when library developers post demos they could include a midifile that contains the data used to create the demo. Perhaps they could include a readme with information like, the mod wheel data is used for expression, notes between C1 and G1 are keyswitches etc.

We will release our midifiles for the EASTWEST/QUANTUM LEAP SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA with full instructions as to how to reproduce the demos so you know there is no \'smoke and mirrors\'.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Doug, that\'s great. Maybe you could consider doing this for some of the other libs, like QLB and 56 Strat (the ones I own!)

Perhaps post them on the website for the CDs that are already burned?

It\'s a great way to share \'how to do it\' concepts and shows how the developer was thinking when he created the sample set...

I would really like to see the QL Strat demo
files. Never have been able to recreate the strumming demos Nick did.

<font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Arial\">OK... Nick, are you willing to make those midi files public? (Along with the rough settings on the FX, I believe you said you used a Pod?} Please?

It would definitely benefit the users.
