Not entirely joking. I curious about just what the SRS WowThing does. They sell for $20 and I like the effect. They also make a more expensive rack unit.
(The SRS WowThing is a board in a plastic hardware casing. You plug it in between your system and headphones, but you could presumably route it back into your system and record the sound. It produces the same effect as the Wow feature in the Windows Media Player. Try recording a 3 minute .wav file from a good Giga piano and run it through this effect in the Windows Media Player.) I\'m not sure what the effect is. Sounds like a slight increase in the stereo spread and normalization, but it\'s very good for pianos.)
