LOP and polyphony

Hi all,

I\'ve just purchased the LOP, and I\'m really disapointed by the polyphony :
I obtain about 40 voices with a simple rythmic of snare ! Is it normal, and if yes, does anyone know some tricks to by-pass the problem ?

Use the mod wheel to reduce the ambiance decay, it helps a lot...

If you have the time and the tools (e.g. SoundForge), you can edit or batch-process individual samples to reduce their lengths. I found several raw samples to have a complete dead tail (say below an -70 dB). For instance, check the snare section samples. I admit this is probably a bit over the top to address this poly issue. Maybe less hits in a row?
Another option is to check if \"self-masking\" is enabled in the LOP instruments, but I am not (yet) familiar with that approach. Essentially it seems to stop playing samples when louder ones for the same note are hit.
