The official dvds with composer-friendly extras post

I thought it would be cool if we could list the dvds that have extras such as:

    -audio commentary about the score
    -documentaries about creating the score
    etc

I don\'t think theres a need to say what
exactly is on there if you can\'t remember, as we can just go to amazon and check for the features.

    My List:
    The Matrix
    Gladiator
Once upon a time in mexico

Fly Away Home - Mark Isham (this is the most educational composer commentary I\'ve seen)

Blade - Mark Isham (his approach to this score is totally different than Fly Away Home- quite interesting)

Planet of the Apes - Danny Elfman (I get the feeling he didn\'t really want to do this)

Spirit - Hans Zimmer (a short feature about the scoring process and working with Bryan Adams)

Traffic - I forget the composer\'s name but this was a very interesting commentary, perfect if you like ambient scores.

E.T. - Johns Williams conducts the orchestra live to the premiere screening of the movie\'s re-release! It\'s amazing how he pulled this off.

TIP - If you want to listen to a score but the DVD doesn\'t have a an isolated track, you can often completely remove the dialog by muting the center channel using your soundcard applet. You\'re left with just SFX and music, and maybe little dialog if they put reverb on it.
