    This is a very nice and easily listened to Flute Exercise. It should be in every flute player's repertory. I would have liked to hear a little more orchestral parts accompanying the flute but that is personal preference. It is a lovely little piece as it stands.

    Being a flute player myself, Larry, it's always appealing to hear 'pleasant' exercises. In most cases they are so dull and tedious. E minor is particularly well fit for the modern flute (that's the point of the player, never of the teacher...)

    Wonderful piece, with good accompaniment. I think a lot of young students could play this on their final concert in music academy.
