*** Art Vista Steinway UPDATE ***

In the previous preview: http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=007147
there was a mistake in the instrument programming, so that both sustained samples and non-pedal samples were playing at the same time causing some coloration and other problems. Luckily, I discovered this, and have sorted it out.

A few posters were also asking for something more dynamic. If you listen to the end of this piece, there is plenty of dynamics:

<font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Arial\">So hurry up and finish the piano as I can´t buy it otherwise

It will get a special place on my harddisk close to the Malmsjö Piano (one of my favourites)

(Bump) This has moved far too quickly towards page two. Give more people a chance to hear this lovely piano in a different context.

<font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Arial\">Agreed. I too would like to hear the fixed version of \"Clowns\". I also was impressed with the difference in the demos. Almost like two demos from different pianos!

Fixed Clowns would be a good band name.

Lawrence,

I will include the version with the layering as a separate patch in the instrument.

The lower notes are much better now. I\'d like like to hear Send In The Clowns with the fix, but the expressiveness of your playing and the piano itself make for two impressively different experiences on the two pieces.

Your search for beta testers will be as difficult as finding people to take free money.

Hans,

I think you misunderstood what I meant.

By saying \"I also was impressed with the difference in the demos. Almost like two demos from different pianos!\" I was referring to the difference between the original \"Send in the Clowns\" demo and the Ramaninoff demo.

However, it would be fine to include the version with the layering as a separate patch, as an option, because you never know when that would be useful to someone!

If you could post a fixed version of \"Send in the Clowns\" demo that would be great. (However, please be sure to give it a different file name, or it will be tricky to convince the OS that it hasn\'t already been downloaded!)

Thanks,

Lawrence
