After months of 'conclusive data' that teens were using Facebook far less often and spending more time elsewhere, a new survey from a respected source shows something entirely different. A Forrester Research survey of 4,517 teens put Facebook clearly ahead of their social media competitors. Almost half of 12-17 year olds were using Facebook more often than they were a year ago. Teen use of Facebook is far greater than any other service except YouTube; and 28% of teens use it exclusively. Increased mobile usage should consider to continue the trend, according to the survey.
