I\'m a Mac user with a Roland 760. I\'m considering taking the plunge to get a Gigasampler setup. I know nothing about PCs, and I\'ve got a lot of Roland sounds. I heard that there is some program that will convert these to Giga format. Does it work? Will I be able to safely sell my 760?? This is something I need to do right away, so that I can have the sounds ready when I get the setup. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

I\'m also getting Translator because it has the added bonus of converting whole performances, meaning I can have all the sounds from an old arrangement up in Giga very easily.
The Giga version of Translator is on sale for $20 off at the moment - $59.95.
Thanks so much for the URL and the tips...I was worried that these programs might only convert patches....performances would be great...now if they could only do volumes....
