Which violin articulation for this type of phrase?

Which articulation works best for fast, agile arpeggiated triads ala the opening of Wagner\'s \"Ride of the Valkeries\"? I\'m looking for something that sounds smooth at fast tempos, but with a velocity-controlled attack to allow for accents within the line.

    Well,..

You\'ll probably like the new updates.. since there are some that will play better for \"accented\" lines

but uhm... I\'d use martele violins, layered with maybe sul tasto or something. Use the martele\'s to \"Accent\" the lines, and use the other short bow to level out the consistancy.

Cool--thanks for the tip. Can\'t wait for that update...will it be a couple of CDs like the last one? :-) Man we\'re spoiled!

    Yup,

multiple CDs last I talke to Tom. Almost a gigabyte of data. Not sure how much of it is brand spanking new sample data tho. Some may be replacements for older files.
