After a 15 year stint, Bill Carr, Amazon's head of digital music and video is exiting the company. Under Carr's leadership the company entered both the digital music and streaming video markets. While still a fraction of iTunes, Amazon is the #2 seller of digital music in the U.S. Recently Carr oversaw Amazon's answer to Spotify - a catalog driven streaming music service tied to Amazon Prime memberships.
