How to Tell if GPO\'s VST is installed?

I\'m using a Mac. When I installed GPO I chose the \"Easy Install\" option. I\'ve been using GPO as a standalone and it works great. I downloaded GPO STUDIO to work with Finale. When using GPO STUDIO I don\'t get any sounds. I get a \"clicking\" noise instead of pitches. I\'m thinking that the VST\'s weren\'t installed. Where do I check to see if they\'re there? Do I have to re-install the program using a custom install this time?

You should get an error message if the VST plugin
    cannot be found.

    It should be in:
    /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/
    the name is:
    PersonalOrchestra.vst

I\'m guessing the click problem is maybe related
to the audio device you are using. Are you using
    the built-in or a multi-channels (more than 2)
    device?

If the problem is coming from a multi-channels
device, please PM me and i\'ll send you a link
for an updated version that might fix the
    problem.

Besides the Mod wheel being set to 0, the other the only other thing I can think of is the CPU usage
(it\'s in the status bar of GPO Studio), it doesn\'t
take much to kill my G4/700 here when Ambience
    is running at full quality.

    Jeff,
One thing you can try is to mouse click on Ambience in GPO Studio, and turn the CPU/quality knob (of Ambience) all the way down to zero. This will save on CPU considerably, and might get rid of the cliking sounds for you. If it solves the problem, dial up the CPU/quality knob a little until you get to a spot that sounds good for reverb and yet doesn\'t take up too much CPU.

    Jeff H.,

That did the trick! I obviously need to conserve my CPU for the samples. Is there a way to disable AMBIENCE completey so I don\'t have to dial down everytime?

    Thanks again for your help,
    Jeff T.

I\'m using the built-in audio device in my powerbook. I found the \'personalorchestra.vst\' where you said I would. I can see the LED meter registering notes as they\'re being triggered. But no sound. Any other ideas?
