    Apple Logic

I’m starting to learn Logic Pro X and I notice that it was maxing out my CPU with just one instance of Kontakt. Luckily I found an article by a Logic Pro expert and trainer about Logic Pro and Muti-timbral hosts like Kontakt and Aria. I had a new iMac being shipped to me from Apple but now understanding how Logic Pro sees hosts like Kontakt or Aria I discovered that my old iMac was still going to do the job so back to Apple went the new iMac.

Apple seems to push the envelope with new computer standards like when they dropped the floppy drive and replaced it with the little known USB port in 1998.

Here, it sounds like they would like to see the standard 16 midi channel sample host eliminated and replaced by just individual instruments like the pianos currently are(Garritan CFx Concert Grand) or instruments organized by developer libraries or possibly instrument categories with some reference to the instruments library.

Maybe Apple would also like to entice developers into the Apple App store to collect a percentage of each sale, robbing some of the licensing revenue from developers like Native Instruments(Kontakt).
