First GPO Test

    Hi,

I just finished my first test with GPO. Because I had nothing specific in mind, I decided to do another rendition (maybe I win a contest for the 10.000th remix/cover version) of the well known T2-Theme. I just wanted to test some instruments and the overall behaviour of GPO, so don\'t expect too much, it isn\'t mixed nor eq\'d - just a reverb was added (maybe too much ).

Although it isn\'t my very own composition you might want to give some comments and/or tips (I\'m new to orchestral music).

    Here it is: T2-GPO

Btw, there are two more pieces of mine (my first two orchestral pieces to be exactly) you might want to check and comment. Please be aware that they are not done with GPO, but with the Edirol HQ-Orchestra (which is not so bad for a 150MB small library). Anyway .. comments and tips are very apprecciated (damn is this spelled correctly?).

Hope & Despair - Nothing much to say

Prepare for battle - This could fit into a short cue having troops marching to the battlefield

    Thanks,

    Malte

    Malte,

Very good for a quick first test! I can\'t wait to hear what you do once you become familiar with GPO. I enjoyed your two original compositions as well.

    Thanks for posting these.

best GPO \"holywood\" demo I\'ve heard

Gary still hoping you have one lying around for me.

I honestly cant believe those other tunes are done with an Edirol...

Yeah, the Edirol french horns and some of the strings are actually pretty damn good!

    Thanks for your comments,

I guess getting familiar with \"orchestral scoring\" is much more of a challenge then getting used to GPO. I\'m really looking forward to read Francesco\'s Tutorial once it is finished.

And Gary: I really enjoy GPO and do not regret spending my money on this product

All I could say is - NICE!! I have been busy with \"life\" the past month and have not composed anything new lately. After listening to your demos my creative ambition was jump started again. You have inspired me to put \"life\" aside for awhile and do some writing again.

I have saved your demos in my GPO Demo Favorites folder

    Thank you Steve,

I can\'t believe we are talking about the same demos It\'s an honor that someone is being inspired by my demos, really. I\'m looking forward to hear some of the results..

Thanks again and sorry for my bad english,

    Malte
