    Pitch instead of Mod Wheel

    Hello,

l\' want to use the pitch instead of the Mod Wheel (it\'s a bender on my PC 180 A, and it\'s not easy to practice..)

Do you know, how can l do to make this change.
Do l have to change something in Cubase or on the keyboard ?

    Thanks a lot.

If your Cubase is recent enough to make use of MFX plugins, try my MFX PW-Map

    Thanks a lot M.
l didn\'t know if it was worked for Cubase.
When you say Recent : for Cubase SX, is it ok for MFX Pw-Map?

    Regards.

<font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Arial\">Should work fine with SX (I\'ve not seen reports otherwise). You just have to make sure the MFX adapter is installed on your system: visit Steinberg\'s site if it\'s not already there.

    Hello -m-,

Thanks a lot for your answer.

l have install the mfx Wrapper in the \"Componements\" folder of cubase.
l want to know where l am putting the TcMfxPwMap.dll (the folder) in cubase ?

    Thanks.

Hrmmm, not so sure on that (being a SONAR guy). I\'d wager that it doesn\'t matter too much, since MFX have to be installed/registered on your system; the actual directory is stored in the Windows registry.

    Can anyone else confirm this?

Re: Pitch instead of Mod Wheel

    Hello, it\'s Working !!!!

l have put the dll : mfxwrapper.dll in the folder Components of cubase.
Then, l have \"regitred\" the dll TcMfxPwMap.dll by making a right click on it and choose registred (it\'s was this, that l haven\'t done before....)

(l have installed the shell program of tenCrazy before).

    Thanks a lot TenCrazy !

Re: Pitch instead of Mod Wheel

I\'m sure all the methods described work, but if you have Cubase 5.x or later or Logic Audio, it is quite easy to use the midi transformers built in to both pieces of software. In Cubase - the \'Midi Input Transformer\' (in PANELS menu)can convert on the fly midi messages from one type to another. In Logic you insert a transformer between the keyboard and midi input in the Environment window and it works in almost the same way.
